Wednesday!

Happy Hump day everyone! I will be around a lot more for the next few days as the hubby has had to take a 2nd job (we only have 1 car and so it’s impossible for me to work) so he’s working daytime at one job and overnight at another. Since both of the jobs are about 10 mins apart and we live 40 mins from both of them and to save gas money since we have $10 until next Friday (yes, a week and a half) he’s just going to stay in town and just sleep in the car between shifts and will come home Sunday morning. Yeah, it sucks really badly, but oh well. It won’t be like this forever I should be able to get a ton of things accomplished while he is gone. I’m going to try to get all of the gift tags that I want to list made, and make some mailers to list as well. Since I am going to totally re-vamp my shop in January I want to get a head start, and get things made now so I don’t have to work so hard to list consistently to draw people to my shop. I will continue to knit, but not having that as the main product in my shop. I might not list any more knit items until later on, when I have a good amount of nice things made. Not that the items in my shop now aren’t nice, but they aren’t the best I can do. Time to cut some tags and then head to bed!

Go Hokies and Cavs!

ok, so I can’t decide. I really don’t like the Hokies since I went to Radford (which is right next door) but the hubby went to VT so I kinda like them, but living in Charlottesville I like the Cavs, so I guess I am supporting both.

I’m making soup with the left over turkey. It’s boiling on the stove and in a little while I will strain it and let it sit to get the fat off before I move on to the soup part.

Haven’t gotten much done on the hat. Hopefully while the little girl naps, which she is SUPPOSED to be doing right now (note the sarcasm) I can get some good progress made. I’m gonna take new pictures of some gift tags and hopefully they will be better.

Cranky baby!

So for some reason the baby has been unusually cranky today. She would barely eat her breakfast, barely eat lunch, and at dinner all she would eat without really crying was her oatmeal. Even her favorite fruits she wouldn’t eat without tears, so needless to say I haven’t gotten much done today. The hubby is off work tomorrow so I won’t be getting much done except for knitting on his hat. Hopefully I will have a couple of things to list on Friday. Maybe I can up my listing and get more traffic and items into my shop!
